How It All Started...

It all began on a wet evening in Portland, Oregon. As Brian Narrates:

January, 2011. I was listening to an episode of Marc Maron‘s WTF podcast the day before the early Friday show, which I had tickets to. The POW moment occurred when I figured he was probably not using a handmade coffee mug. I saw a chance to show my deep appreciation for him & his work with something he could use every day. So I drew some images, scanned them, printed off some decals, & fired them back onto a finished mug.

Since then, Marc‘s been buying mugs from me to give to his guests—people like Garry Shandling, Iggy Pop, Conan O’Brien, Amy Poehler, and Richard Lewis. Eventually, we made the mugs available for purchase to the general public. The reception has been amazing, and I’m honored to have the opportunity, through Marc, to offer my work to a larger and wider audience than ever before.

About the Decals...

Dima Drjuchin is an artist/musician who was born in Moscow, but grew up making images and sounds in New York City.

Wielding the culmination of human potential wrought from the depths of the bicameral mind, Drjuchin allows us a glimpse into a fractalated moment of cultural hypnagogic modality.

Moreover, the Decals printed by Milestone unravel the kaleidoscopic essence of creative ingenuity, offering a transcendental window into a symphony of visual poetry and cultural resonance.
